Our East Brunswick team is here because pelvic health deserves more than a rushed appointment. This practice was intentionally created for women, so that every patient feels comfortable, respected, and understood from the moment she arrives. Safety is not a checkbox here. It is a culture built into every part of care, from how a procedure is planned to how we follow through afterward.

Exceptional care goes beyond clinical expertise. Our physicians, nurse practitioners, surgical coordinators, and front-office staff take the time to listen, educate, and involve you in every decision about your care. Questions are encouraged and concerns are addressed openly. We stay accessible, invested, and accountable through recovery and beyond.

Located in East Brunswick at 620 Cranbury Road, our office is part of New Jersey Urogyn, one of the only practices in New Jersey dedicated solely to pelvic floor disorders. Our East Brunswick location offers women a safe, supportive environment to address sensitive health concerns like urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and other pelvic floor conditions, without having to just “live with it.”

Patients at our East Brunswick office have access to the full range of care available across our practice, from non-surgical treatments like pelvic floor physical therapy, Bulkamid injections, and bladder Botox, to advanced surgical options including robotic-assisted procedures. Our East Brunswick team brings the same expert, compassionate care that has helped thousands of women regain their quality of life.

Whether you’re seeking your first consultation or exploring treatment options after years of discomfort, our East Brunswick office is here to help you move forward with confidence and vitality.

Dr. Anjali Kapur, a fellowship-trained urogynecologist, sees patients at our East Brunswick office.

Dr. Anjali Kapur, MD, urogynecologist at New Jersey Urogyn in East Brunswick, NJ

Dr. Kapur is a fellowship-trained urogynecologist in central New Jersey serving East Brunswick, Edison, Old Bridge, and surrounding areas.

She knew from an early age that she wanted to become a physician and was accepted into the highly selective BS/MD program at Stony Brook University directly out of high school. She went on to complete both her undergraduate and medical education at Stony Brook before pursuing a five-year residency in urology, which included a year of general surgery. During this time, she developed a passion for advancing women’s health after recognizing how often women’s intimate concerns such as pelvic floor disorders were overlooked or dismissed.
Motivated to change that narrative, Dr. Kapur completed a two-year fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center. Trained by both urologists and gynecologists, she gained broad expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, and voiding dysfunction.

She offers advanced pelvic floor reconstruction using minimally invasive robotic techniques as well as traditional vaginal surgery, always tailoring her approach to each patient’s unique needs and goals. Her philosophy centers on compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers women to make informed decisions and regain confidence in their daily lives.

An active researcher, Dr. Kapur has presented nationally on topics including overactive bladder and cost-effective treatment strategies in urogynecology. Her work has been published in respected academic journals and featured in outlets such as Urology Times and Uro Today.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Kapur enjoys spending time with her husband and family, exploring new restaurants, and visiting local farmers’ markets for inspiration in her home cooking. Originally from New York, she now happily calls central New Jersey home thanks to her husband’s ongoing mission to turn her into a true Jersey girl.

Every physician on our team has built their entire career around one focus: female pelvic health. When you come to us, you’re matched with someone whose training speaks directly to what you’re dealing with.

Good care starts with being heard. We build in the time for real conversation, explain things in plain language, and land on a treatment plan together, never a decision handed down without you at the table.

Whether that means watching and waiting, a simple in-office fix, or minimally invasive surgery, we lay out the full range of evidence-backed choices so you’re picking what’s right for you, not settling for what’s available.

You shouldn’t have to drive to a major medical center for subspecialty-level care. We’ve brought that expertise to East Brunswick, serving Middlesex County right where you live.

Dr. Kapur sees you at your first visit and stays with you for ongoing care: the same physician, every step of the way.
